Celebrate the Fourth of July in Vancouver, WA

From fireworks shows to festivals, live music to classic cars, Vancouver, WA knows how to celebrate the Fourth of July! While some of the city’s most iconic events—like Fort Vancouver's Fourth of July Fireworks, Summer Fest: Picnic in the Park, and the traditional 4th of July rodeo—are not taking place in 2025, there are still plenty of exciting Independence Day celebrations and summer events to enjoy in and around Vancouver in July. Read on for some of our favorite ways to celebrate!

Our Favorites for July Fourth (and Beyond)

Fireworks:

Yes, there is a confirmed public fireworks display happening in the Vancouver, WA area in 2025! Head to the Harvest Days Festival in Battle Ground on Saturday, July 19 for a dazzling fireworks show. The festival also features a hometown parade, pancake breakfast, bounce houses, and a classic carnival—perfect for a full day of family fun.
Note: Consumer fireworks are prohibited within the City of Vancouver, though they may be allowed in some nearby areas. Be sure to check local regulations before lighting up the night sky with a backyard fireworks show.

Ice Cream:

Craving something sweet? Don’t miss the Scooped Ice Cream Festival, happening July 19–20 in Esther Short Park. With more than 50 flavors of all-you-can-eat ice cream, plus food vendors, live music, photo ops, and a roller disco show, it’s a cool way to celebrate summer in Vancouver.

Live Music:

The Vancouver Waterfront Concert Series kicks off on July 3 with the electrifying Latin jazz sounds of the Bobby Torres Ensemble. Then, on Sunday, July 13, enjoy the soulful blues of Curtis Salgado at the Columbia Tech Center Sunday Sounds Concert Series—a great way to groove into mid-July.

Classic Cars:

Love vintage rides? Make your way to the Friday Night Cruise-In at Alderbrook Park in Brush Prairie, WA for a special July 4th edition of this beloved local event.

Baseball:

Take yourself out to the ballgame! The Ridgefield Raptors play at home on July 4 at the Ridgefield Outdoor Recreational Complex. The first pitch is at 6:35 p.m., and tickets range from $8 to $23—a great outing for baseball fans of all ages.

Pride Celebration:

Show your true colors at Saturday in the Park Pride, Southwest Washington’s longest-running LGBTQ+ celebration. This inclusive and joyful event takes place on July 12 in Esther Short Park and Playground, featuring entertainment, community vendors, and a celebration of Vancouver’s diverse and supportive spirit.
