Cruise-Ins and Car Shows in Vancouver, Washington

Like many American towns, car cruises in Vancouver have been a summer staple for decades. Stories of classic automobiles lining Main Street and sports car rallies specifically stand out from as early as the 1960s and 70s. Meant to relive the glory days and support 22 blocks of downtown businesses, the third Saturday in July saw thousands of hot rods and classic cars at formalized events like Cruisin' the Gut and Cruise the Couve from 2008 to 2019.

While informal cruises still happen, car shows around Clark County have created space for the ultimate viewing experience, complete with Best in Show awards, kids activities, and live music. For nearly 20 years, the Camas Car Show has taken place in it's quaint downtown blocks and Battle Ground's Harvest Night's Cruise keeps the nostalgia alive during it's annual Harvest Days festival. Weekly and bi-monthly Cars and Coffee events occur in multiple spots throughout the city during the warmer months.
