Exhibits and Educational Events
Be inspired by artistic expression and learn about the history of Vancouver WA at these educational events.
Stroll back in time at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site’s Lantern Tours and Campfires & Candlelight events. Experience historical vignettes with living-history interpreters in authentic period costume. Saturdays bring opportunities to learn aviation skills at Pearson Field and understand the Columbia River’s ecosystem at the Water Resources Education Center.
Walk the streets during First Friday every month to peruse local galleries. Put on by Vancouver’s Downtown Association, restaurants stay open late with live music and free food samples. November’s Clark County Open Studios Tour is another great roundup of the area’s best artists. In addition to rotating exhibits, the Clark County Historical Museum leads History Walking Tours of several Vancouver neighborhoods. (Bonus: They are haunted in October!)
