Silver Ball Social Club
Downtown’s new 21+ bar, Silver Ball, comes from the team behind Thirsty Sasquatch and 3 Howls Remedy House, and it brings the fun. A $12 wristband gets you unlimited pinball for the day, plus there is a skee ball lane, playful themed bathrooms, craft cocktails, and a snacky menu. Open Monday to Thursday 3 p.m. to 12 a.m., Friday to Sunday 11 a.m. to 12 a.m., at 114 E. Evergreen Blvd. A perfect fall night out with friends.
Sourpuss Lemonade
Sourpuss Lemonade is shaking up the lemonade game with its one-of-a-kind mobile lemon slush bar. Each drink is made from real lemonade—not ice—so the flavor stays refreshing to the very last sip. Every cup gets a candy-coated sour rim and a dropper of tangy liquid so you can make it as puckery as you like. Handmade locally with fresh fruit and pure cane sugar (no syrups or artificial flavors), it’s a colorful twist on a classic. Vancouver’s wine scene keeps getting better with the addition of Dovetail Cellars, a boutique winery tucked inside the cozy cottage next to the Providence Academy. Aioli's Cafe
Heading east? Aioli’s Café is a new take-out window now open at 1801 Main Street in Washougal. Darbar Halal Market

Minari Market
This make-your-own instant noodle bar and Asian retail concept is set to join the Soft Tea space on Main Street, Minari is bringing a fun fusion of quick bites and curated goods to downtown. Guests will be able to choose their favorite noodles and toppings to craft a custom ramen bowl, perfect for a warm meal in those colder months. The owners have been sharing behind-the-scenes updates of the buildout and business journey on Instagram—worth a follow as they prepare to open before the end of the year.
Cantong Café
A new spot for dim sum is headed to the Vancouver Waterfront. Cantong Café has signed a lease for a ground-floor space in the waterfront parking garage at Grant and Columbia, bringing Chinese dumplings and traditional dishes to the area. While the opening date hasn’t been announced yet, it’s an exciting addition to the growing lineup of global flavors along the riverfront.
Gone But Not Forgotten
Hopworks Brewery
Hopworks has officially closed its Vancouver location as of August 9. The family-owned brewery made the decision as part of a strategic shift to refocus operations amid industry challenges. While the Vancouver pub experience never fully rebounded post-pandemic, Hopworks continues to serve fans at its flagship Portland location, now featuring an expanded menu and live entertainment.
Pacific House - Union Station
Pacific House has closed its Union Station location as of August 5, while its flagship restaurant on Main Street remains open and thriving. The decision allows the owners to focus their energy on the downtown space and spend more time with family—ensuring guests can continue enjoying the Pacific House experience in the heart of Vancouver.
Doomsday Brewing
Doomsday Brewing has officially closed its downtown Vancouver and Hazel Dell locations, but fans can still raise a glass at the Washougal taproom. The brewery continues to serve its signature lineup of craft beers there, keeping the spirit of this local favorite alive just a short drive from the city.
