Jutting 90 feet out over the Columbia River, Grant Street Pier was specifically designed by nationally-renowned public artist Larry Kirkland to evoke the billow of a passing sailboat. Lighting concepts for the pier were provided by Fisher Marantz Stone, which helped illuminate the Washington Monument in Washington, D.C. and the “Tribute in Light” at New York’s World Trade Center. The pier is the focal point for Vancouver Waterfront Park.
