Family Pottery Wheel Class

Looking for a creative experience for the whole family? Join our Sunday afternoon family-friendly pottery wheel class that is open to all ages!

This class will be instructed by one of our talented ceramicists who will guide you step-by-step through the process of centering your clay, opening the clay, and pulling up the walls of your piece. If participants ages 8+ do make a piece you'd like to keep, our studio staff will trim, fire, and glaze your piece at no additional cost, which can then be picked up in a few weeks. Otherwise, your clay will be recycled for our next classes to practice with!

You can keep additional pieces for $25 each. We will trim, bisque fire, glaze pieces to the color of your choosing and then glaze fire them one more time. The additional $25 is to be paid after class so you can decide if you want to keep your creation or leave the clay to be recycled.

-Date & Time: Sundays from 12:30-2:00pm
-Location: Kilnfolk Clay Studio, 108 W 6th Street, Vancouver, WA 98660
-Price: $35 for kids under 8, $45 for kids 8-17, $75 for ages 18+. Please read our class listing page for instructions on how to book according to age.
-What's included: 1.5 hours of time to try out the pottery wheel, guided by an instructor. We will glaze and fire your piece to be picked up a few weeks after class.
