Spring has officially arrived and so have a few new spots you’ll want to check out. Whether you're visiting for the weekend or just looking for an excuse to explore somewhere new, these additions are bringing flavor, creativity, and community spirit to the area.

Fresh Finds

These new businesses popped up this past quarter and whether you’re a first-time visitor or a longtime local, they’re worth a visit.

Husubi’s Poke Shop
A longtime favorite at the Vancouver Farmers Market, Husubi’s has opened a brick-and-mortar location downtown, serving up island-inspired bites like Spam Musubi, mac salad, and signature poké bowls. They’re known to sell out fast so get there early! But don't worry, you can still find them at the Vancouver Downtown and Camas Farmers Markets too.

La Fiesta on Main
A true taste of New Mexico has arrived downtown. This family-owned spot serves authentic dishes made with locally sourced ingredients and a whole lot of heart. From scratch-made fare to fresh-squeezed margaritas (no pre-mixes here), every bite is handcrafted with care.

Senor Taps
Felida’s newest taquería blends authentic Mexican street food with a full-service bar. With handcrafted cocktails, bold flavors, and a welcoming neighborhood vibe, Señor Taps is more than a place to eat, it’s a gathering place.

Irrelevant Beer
The team behind Relevant Coffee has joined forces with local industry pros to launch this new microbrewery in the Arnada neighborhood. Specializing in West Coast IPAs, hazies, and lagers, Irrelevant Beer shares its sleek taproom with Goon Burger—serving up what might just be Vancouver’s best smash burger, Wednesday through Sunday.

Pour Choices Pub
Located in Uptown, Pour Choices is your friendly neighborhood bar where great beer meets even better company. Founded by a group of locals, it’s designed to feel like home—a place where strangers become friends over laughs, conversation, and a rotating tap list. From run clubs to birthday parties, it’s also a go-to spot for casual community gatherings. One Pour Choice at a time, they’re building something special.

El Coyote Tacos & Tequila
Tacos, burritos, beer, and tequila-forward cocktails are all coming soon to downtown Vancouver with the opening of El Coyote Tacos & Tequila—a laid-back spot with bold flavors and festive vibes.

On Our Radar

From “coming soon” signs to soft launches, here are a few openings we’re keeping an eye on.

Minari Market
This instant noodle bar and Asian retail concept is joining the Soft Tea space on Main Street, offering a fun fusion of quick bites and curated goods downtown.

Breakside Brewery
Portland favorite Breakside Brewery is expanding across the river with a new brewpub taking over the former Locust Cider space on Washington Street in downtown Vancouver. Expect craft beer, casual bites, and a lively new gathering spot.

Full Heart Irish Pub
From the team behind Brickhouse and Coral Club comes a new spot in the heart of downtown, Full Heart Irish Pub. Cenetered on the Irish values of love, friendship, and loyalty, this Main Street addition is all about raising spirits (and pints) in true neighborhood fashion.

Social Kitchen
Blending culinary creativity with connection, Social Kitchen is preparing to open its doors on Main Street with interactive dining experiences, themed events, and private gatherings designed to bring people together through food, fun, and just a dash of learning.

Kismet
A refined new addition to Vancouver’s historic Main Street, Kismet will offer a seasonal prix fixe menu crafted by Chef Eric Gallanter, whose four-decade career shapes each elevated, ingredient-driven dish in this intimate dining space.

Gone But Not Forgotten

A few local spots said their farewells this quarter. We’ll miss these gems and wish the owners the very best in what’s next:

Art on the Boulevard
After 19 years of celebrating creativity in the community, Art on the Boulevard has officially closed its doors. A project of Friends of the Arts, this nonprofit gallery showcased the work of over 50 Northwest artists, offering a diverse range of styles and media. Its legacy of supporting local art and fostering community will be warmly remembered.

Main St Trader
Known for their quality all-wood furniture and friendly service, Main St. Trader closed earlier this year after serving the downtown community with style and heart.

Slow Fox Chili
This cozy, beloved chili shop built a loyal following in downtown over the past five years. Known for its hearty bowls and warm hospitality, Slow Fox leaves behind a full heart and a community of fans who already miss it.

Locust Cider
After more than four great years in the downtown taproom, Locust Cider has said farewell to Vancouver. Fans can still visit them at locations across the greater Seattle and Washington area.
