January/February 2014

Each year, the Vancouver USA Regional Tourism Office releases its Annual Tourism Report to our stakeholders and community partners. This report showcases the work of our dedicated team, but more importantly, it highlights the economic impact of the Tourism Industry on the development and growth of Clark County.

Tourism continues to be an economic driver for our community, and this past year was no exception. The end of 2013 marked the end of a year of recovery, growth, and development for much of the region, and our Annual Report features travel-spending graphs broken down by industry sector, a recap of total tourism dollars spent, and tables charting the impact of convention and meeting sales.

In addition, the Annual Report highlights our new visitor publication, Vancouver USA magazine, and details the effect the publication will have on sustaining current visitor interest and generating new visitor interest in Clark County. The magazine will serve as the premier travel publication for Southwest Washington, and questions regarding featuring your business or organization in the magazine should be directed to Susan Crow with our publisher SagaCity.

We have mailed copies of the report to all of our community partners, but if you have not received your copy, please access the digital version. After reading the report, we hope you'll see for yourself the value of tourism to our economy.
