Imagine cozying up on a chilly winter night with warm soup in a bowl you've made yourself! Join us in the studio for a 1.5 hour workshop where you'll create a ceramic hand-built soup bowl with the guidance of one of our experienced studio instructors. You'll secure handles and add surface decorations as desired. This workshop is made for all skill levels – absolute beginners, you're more than welcome! Recommended for ages 8 and above.
A portion of the workshop proceeds will be donated to FISH, the Westside Food Pantry of Vancouver. By participating, you're not just crafting a bowl; you're helping fill the bowls of those in need. After the workshop, we'll take care of the kiln firing process. You'll return in a few weeks to pick up your completed bowl, fired with a single color glaze of your choice. Custom glazing is available if desired at an additional cost- ask your instructor at the workshop if you're interested!
