Sensory-Friendly Nutcracker presented by Columbia Dance

Columbia Dance’s Fort Vancouver Nutcracker returns with all the magic of a traditional Nutcracker — sparkling tutus, Tchaikovsky’s music, and holiday cheer. This unique production also weaves in Fort Vancouver history, featuring beavers, wapato plants, and Oregon Trail children alongside snowflakes and plumerias. A festive, family-friendly tradition with a Northwest twist!
Sensory Friendly Performance: Friday, December 19 at 6 PM. With lower music volume, soft lighting, buffer seats, and a relaxed environment, this performance welcomes anyone with sensory sensitivities. Audience members may move freely or make noise—no shushing required.
