Plas Newydd Farm Arts Initiative “Creating Space” For Fine Arts Show Featuring North Clark County Artists

Imagine a beautiful historic farmhouse on a hill above the shores of the Lewis River in North Clark County. Now fill that house with the art of several accomplished local artists. The Plas Newydd Farm Arts Initiative is excited to announce “Creating Space” its first fine arts show on May 24th and 25th in Ridgefield. The show features several North Clark County artists, as well as 2024 PN Farm Arts Initiative artists in residence. Their work includes painting, collage, clay, textiles, and bronze sculpture.
Featured artists include Ken Spurlock, Nancy Casey, Valerie Conrey, Teri Corle, Lee Herrman, Ann Fleming, and Sharon Svec. Music will be provided throughout the event by finger style guitarist Kit Garoutte. There will be and artists’ reception at 1pm on Saturday, and hands-on art activities and demonstrations throughout the weekend.
The PN Farm Arts Initiative is a place-based, collaborative art space based at Plas Newydd Farm in Ridgefield, Washington. The Initiative creates a space where the local arts community and the general public can come together for creativity, conversation and exploration, delving into the stories of this region.
