Looking to start your month off with a creative activity? Have a project in mind that you want to create with clay? Join us for our open-ended hand-building class! Feel free to bring your own inspiration, or you'll be able to choose from a variety of simple, beginner friendly projects including mugs, vases, gnomes, animal sculptures, etc.
This is a 1.5 hour beginners hand-building class where you will learn the basics of sculpting up to 2 pounds of clay into your own unique creation. No prior experience needed! Your instructor will guide you through the techniques needed to bring your piece to life, and will be around to answer questions and offer tips and tricks. After the workshop, our team will bisque fire your piece, as well as glaze it to one color of your choice. Want to get hands-on with glazing for a more personalized look? Return to paint your fired pieces with our paint-your-own-pottery glazes - ask your instructor for more information.
We recommend ages 8+ for this workshop. Your handmade pieces will be ready for pickup approximately 3 weeks after your class.
