The Clark College Treble Ensemble and Clark College Chorale under the direction of Dr. Jacob Funk and accompanied by Melissa Espíndola Terrall, present their Fall Concert. The admission is free and open to the public. Donations to the Clark College Choral Fund accepted at the door.
Both choirs have been doing phenomenal work this Fall as we continue to rebuild the amazing music program at Clark College. The Treble Ensemble will perform in French, English, and German in a program of varied time periods and styles. The perennial favorite “Children Go Where I Send Thee” is on the program, as is a stunning new piece by Daniel Brinsmead titled “Moon Flight.”
The Chorale also has a varied program, and will perform works by Felix Mendelssohn, Willam Dawson, Nathaniel Adams, John Leavitt, and Elaine Hagenburg. You’ll Hebrew, English, German, and a little bit of Latin. Adams’ piece “Lux Brumalis” is the centerpiece of the program—a multimovement work for choir and piano which has a beautiful text and lush harmonies.
