Kilnfolk is partnering with experienced ceramic artist and former high school teacher, Frank Eager! Join us at the studio for a 1.5-hour workshop where artists of all skill levels can bring their imagination to life by hand-building beautiful ceramic seashells with unique character and detail. No previous experience required- you're welcome even if you've never touched clay before.
Your instructor, Frank Eager, has dedicated his career to nurturing creativity in his students through ceramic arts. With his passion for problem-solving and creative exploration, Frank will guide you through a fun, engaging process that emphasizes individual expression. Grab your friends, family, or come solo for this class!
After the workshop, we will bisque fire your piece, as well as glaze the body to one color of your choice. If you'd like to customize your piece even further and get hands-on with glazing, ask your instructor about your options. Workshop Details:
-Date & Time: Saturday May 31st, 10:00-11:30am
-Location: Kilnfolk Clay Studio, 108 W 6th Street, Vancouver, WA 98660 Metered street parking downtown, or secure parking is available right down the street in the Lot #18 Park 'n Go Vancouver Center Garage. Street parking is free after 6pm!
-Price: $65 per person
-What's Included: 1.5 hours of guided instruction, and one single color glazed and fired ceramic seashell to be picked up a few weeks after the workshop.
-Attire: Dress comfortably and be prepared to get your hands dirty! Bring your own apron if desired.
