Join us to try a variety of delicious Australian wines, and learn more about the history and diversity of the wine regions of Oz.
Wines from myriad countries across the Southern Hemisphere have been exploding onto the global stage over the past 30 years. Kick-start your year of wine education and take a journey by glass to warmer climes this winter by joining Barnard Griffin Vancouver for one (or all three!) of our Q1 2024 master classes, themed around "Summer in the Southern Hemisphere".
For February's class, we're going down under, to Oz! Let's get to know Syrah by its Aussie name and style (Shiraz), try a deep, mineral-ly Chardonnay, and if we're lucky, we may even get to experience the magic of a Clare or Eden Valley Riesling. Good on ya!
This class will be led by Afton Kortz, Barnard Griffin's Wine Club Manager, who holds a Level 3 certification in Wine from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET).
