Get ready to celebrate a milestone moment as the 60th Annual Hazel Dell Parade of Bands returns on Saturday, May 16! Hosted by the Hazel Dell Salmon Creek Business Association, this beloved community tradition will bring together approximately 120 parade entries, including over 25 marching bands, making for a vibrant showcase of music, local pride, and hometown spirit. This year’s theme, “Honoring Our Nation, Celebrating Our Neighbors,” sets the tone for a meaningful and festive morning that continues a 60-year legacy of supporting school bands and bringing the community together.
The parade kicks off at 10:30 a.m. at the Clark County Fire District 6, following a special national anthem performance at 10:25 a.m., and will travel along Hazel Dell Avenue, 63rd Street, and Highway 99 before concluding at NE 78th Street. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to grab a great viewing spot along the route and enjoy this free, family-friendly event, which draws thousands each year.
