VANCOUVER, Wash. - The Rock n' Roll Classic, hosted by Naydenov Gymnastics, will showcase some of the best Northwest gymnasts February 22-24 at the Clark County Event Center. Gymnasts will showcase their strength, flexibility, power, and balance, along with other athletic skills. Vancouver is home to Naydenov Gymnastics and for the first year, the gym is holding its event offsite to accommodate 13 gyms from Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.

"We are excited to welcome the Northwest gymnastic community to Vancouver," said Ashley Shimer, sports sales manager at the Vancouver USA Regional Sports Commission. "Vancouver's many venues are well equipped to host a wide variety of sports competitions."

Competitions will begin at 4 p.m. Friday, February 22; and 8 a.m. Saturday, February 23, and Sunday, February 24. Gymnasts in levels 4-10 and Xcel will compete. Friday's events also include a Special Abilities Exhibition at 5:45 p.m. The events are open to the public, and tickets are available at the door.

"We are looking forward to hosting our competition again in Vancouver," said Anna Copeland, meet director at Naydenov Gymnastics. "Previously held at Naydenov, the offsite competition will allow us to provide greater support for our elite gymnasts -we may have future Olympians participating in this event."
