The last leaves of autumn are falling, and Vancouver USA has the holiday festivities to close out the year with cheer.

Honor those who have served our country by taking to the streets — either run the "Race to Remember" or set up your folding chair along Officers Row to observe the annual Veterans Parade. Later in November, watch thousands of bulbs light up Vancouver's community tree in Esther Short Park, and then head across the street to the Hilton for the Festival of Trees.

Along with the chilly weather comes ice-cold beer, served at Vancouver USA's Winter Brewfest in Esther Short Park. Put the holiday cheer in your pint glass and try some fresh winter ales from more than 35 breweries. Christmas at the Fort also promises to invoke the holiday spirit with festive activities from the 1840s like wreath making and caroling. Don't forget the mug of hot chocolate!
